Local control for AI coding agents · macOS and Windows
Run more agents. Keep control of the work.
Exy brings Claude Code and Codex into one local app. See what every agent is doing across your projects, keep every conversation and run, and inspect the changes before you decide what happens next.

The problem
You already run several agents at once. That is not the hard part.
The hard part is the moment you look away.
- Which one finished?
- Which one is waiting for an answer?
- Which one quietly changed the wrong file?
- Where did yesterday's session go when the terminal closed?
- And why does everything stop the minute you leave your desk?
The agents made you faster. Keeping track of them made you the bottleneck.
What Exy gives you
What Exy gives you
-
See where your attention is needed
Every chat and run across your workspaces in one place, with a live status on each tab. Open the one that needs you, read its history, and see exactly what it changed, file by file. A closed window no longer costs you a session.
-
Keep parallel changes apart
Group the repositories of a project into one workspace. Run development tasks in their own git worktrees, so agents working side by side don't touch each other's files and nothing reaches your main checkout until you've looked at it.
-
Keep project setup with the project
Give each workspace its own instructions, skills and connected tools, such as Jira or Google Workspace, so every agent starts from the same context instead of a blank prompt.
-
Repeat the work. Stay involved from your phone.
Set up workflows that implement, review and fix in a loop. When one needs a decision, answer it from your iPhone — one phone for every machine you run Exy on.
Who it is for
Who it is for
Developers who already run several Claude Code or Codex sessions a day and want more out of them without losing control of their repositories.
Not for your first week with AI agents. Exy assumes you know what a worktree is and have opinions about what an agent may touch.
How it works
How it works
When early access opens:
Install Exy on your Mac or PC. One app, no account with us.
Connect the Claude Code or Codex CLI you already use and are signed in to. Exy drives them; it does not replace or resell them.
Add a project and start working. Run tasks in parallel, follow their status, and review each change before it lands.
FAQ
FAQ
Which agents and platforms does Exy support?
Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, side by side, in a desktop app for macOS and Windows.
How is this different from the Claude Code or Codex desktop apps?
Each of those works with one provider. Exy puts both in one workspace organised around your repositories, with saved history, reusable project setup, workflows and a phone companion across your machines. Watch the demo and judge whether that beats what you use today.
Do I need my own AI subscription?
Yes. Exy orchestrates the agents you already pay for. It includes no model access and adds no per-token fee; your provider's usage limits still apply.
Does every task run in a separate worktree?
No. You choose. Development tasks and some workflows run isolated; quick questions can work directly in your checkout.
Where does my code go?
Exy runs the agents on your machine and has no server of ours in the loop. Your code goes to the AI provider you use, and to services you connect yourself, such as your own GitHub or GitLab.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes. The iPhone companion lets you check progress, answer questions and approve or stop work across your paired machines. It connects over your own private network (Tailscale).
Can agents keep working when I leave my desk?
Yes, as long as Exy and your computer keep running. Work pauses when it needs your decision, hits an error or reaches a provider limit — and that decision can come from your phone.
What will it cost?
The planned price is US$40–50/month, on top of your AI subscription. Final pricing is not set yet; you'll know it before you decide to pay.
When can I try it?
